Rotary Nowra supporting our Local Community

Recently, Rotary Nowra delivered another project to a worthwhile local organisation that was in need of assistance.

With a focus on the local community, that also includes youth and vocational programs and projects, Rotary Nowra provides assistance to a number of humanitarian service organisations. The reason Rotary supports these other service organisations as opposed to supporting individuals directly is that, Rotary Club members may not have the expertise necessary to determine and prioritise an individual’s needs.

The Humanitarian diversity of Rotary Projects and Programs

Rotary Clubs all around Australia have joined forces and partnered with Channel 9 and The National Farmers' Federation to raise $10M to assist our farmers through the current horrific drought crisis. Notwithstanding this, Rotary is still maintaining its other local and International humanitarian service work and youth programs. This was demonstrated at a recent Rotary Nowra dinner meeting when two guest speakers spoke about their respective Rotary experiences.
