Peace, conflict prevention - resolution and the environment
February wass peace and conflict prevention resolution month.
Now that Virus restrictions are easing, I will follow up on proposed vocational visits to Hanlon Window Factory, Bomaderry Printing Vehicle Decals and Nowra TAFE history. TAFE, or Nowra Tech College, as it was first known was started by Nowra Rotary in 1945 a fact not widely known. I suggest a special meeting be held at the TAFE and a plaque recognising Rotary's involvement be placed in a prominent position.
Kind Regards
Arthur Moorhouse

The Presentation Dinner for the Shoalhaven Emergency Services Community Awards 2022 (SESCA 2022) was held on 9 June 2022 at the Shoalhaven Heads Bowling Club, Shoalhaven Heads.
From the reports, "congratulations to all in the team who worked together for such a successful event... Great venue, food, service, vibe in the room was so inspiring, celebrating just like one big happy family. This is what we all treasure in small communities that work so closely together." Dot Hennessy, Founder RESCA.
